QuickLook with default app for file

Hi List,

I have a question about problems with QuickLook support for files that 
have a default app to open set. My app can open PDFs. When it is set 
as the default app to open a PDF file, QuickLook for this file shows 
the icon intead of the thumbnail. To be clear, my app does *not* 
provide a QuickLook plugin for PDFs. Why would the system plugin not 
work in this case?
