How can I fix an error in a XIB file?

Hi All,

I somehow introduced an error into a XIB file:
    Description: ibtool failed with exception: Error (1002) creating 
CGSWindow

If I try to open, what I believe is the offending window, in Interface 
Builder, it does not display, and
I get no error.

Am I out of luck and have to recreate my window from scratch?
