For changes to cocoa scriptability, check out the OS X Leopard 
Foundation franework release notes. As far as tutorials go there are 
many, and a simple Google search for "add AppleScript support in 
cocoa"  should do the trick.

I would provide links, but I'm on my iPhone at the moment :).
