Day designations in Leopard

I searched the documentation but didn't see anything relevant. What 
are the recommended Leopard replacements for the 
NSThisDayDesignations, NSNextDayDesignations, etc. NSUserDefaults 
keys? They've been deprecated, and I can't find their replacements.
