Do yourself a favour (at least for the future) and get SuperDuper
or a similar tool to make a regular, automatic backup. I presume you
wouldn't be asking this question if you had one, so I'm sorry, but
computing without backups is like driving without a seatbelt...
crashes might happen infrequently, but when you're crashing, with a
seatbelt you don't go through the window.
But this is just a suggestion from someone almost lost all his data
during one of his manual backups.
