Thanks for the reply - it's good to know that this is
happening in other apps, and therefore is probably
(hopefully) a Cocoa bug rather than one of mine. I
have heard mention of an NSView redrawing bug, so
maybe it is just that (only this morning my text view
subclass suddenly turned to garbage when I scrolled
it, the same text view that has been working happily
for nearly a year...).
