BinHex for PPC and Intel

Is there some source code for BinHex which can be compiled for both 
PPC and Intel processors?  I'd like to be able to uncompress .hqx 
files and the such, but past StuffIt, I cannot find any particular 
tools which can uncompress .hqx files.
