Nir, I do like your code better than calling LoginItemsAE because it does
eliminate a couple of the issues. It's still calling "System Events", but
if you add some some error checking and recovery I'd say you've got a good
solution.
Even LoginItemsAE works 99% of the time for 90% of users.
