mlRe: Problem in simulating the events

Right now I don't have a solution for you but if i have one a tell you.

I didn't read the web page i send to you but maybe you can use it to 
put a background window an the others in front or put a little top 
window that cover the menu bar and let to show the others windows. (i 
think it's an ugly solution it's depend of the time you have)

other option is to read something and discover why the events are 
blocked wen open a menu and if you can redirect the events to not stop

I'm continuing thinking about your proble. if you get a solution I 
wold like to know if you want to tell me
