show dock & autohide menubar

Hello,

I need to autohide the menu bar and keep the dock shown.

This needs to be done in carbon. The closest I can get is:

SetSystemUIMode(kUIModeAllHidden, kUIOptionAutoShowMenuBar);

but that hides the dock as well.

HideMenuBar(); also hides the dock.

I can't seem to hide the menu bar and keep the dock shown

Can someone help me?
