BART also goes to and from Oakland Airport (OAK), which often has
cheaper flights than SFO. Just make sure to have $2 exact change for
the shuttle bus from the airport to the BART station (the bus is called
AirBART and is easy to find).

San Jose airport (SJC) is the other cheaper local airport, but there's
no good way to get from there to San Francisco.
