I'm working on a little web browser project for web designers and it is imperative that I provide the option of switching between WebKit and Gecko rendering (to test pages, for example). I am trying to compile the current Mozilla sources but I come up to brick walls at every turn. Nothing seems to compile right, even following instructions carefully.
I am hoping that somebody might have a compiled version of a relatively recent CHBrowserView.framework. I would prefer the framework itself as it will make it easier to embed Gecko in my application, without having to compile and work with its dependencies.
(For those who do not know, CHBrowserView.framework is the gecko rendering engine of Firefox/Camino/Mozilla which can be embedded into a Cocoa app, much like WebKit.framework is for Safari)
I hope anybody who has tried to configure and build Mozilla/Camino can sympathise with me.
Cheers,
Steven
