Hi All,
This question probably has a simple answer, but I couldn't find it in the
archives when I searched using the string "shark nil key"...
I downloaded CHUD and fired up Shark to measure the performance of my new
application. My "Shark" icon turns red and I see the "Sampling..." message
in the lower left corner of the window.
Unfortunately, when Shark begins "Processing Samples..." a dialog box pops
up with the message "***-[NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey:]: attempt to
insert nil key"
After this message appears, Shark continues "processing Samples..." but
never finishes. The "Stop" button is never re-enabled. The only thing I
can do is "Quit" the application.
My app is being built in "development" mode. I am generating Debug Symbols
and I am not doing any code stripping... Obviously, I am doing something
wrong. Can someone point me in the right direction?
thanks,
douglas
