Well, a simple "float" field is in there now (1.0.3). I don't really
have the info at hand about what part is the mantissa, etc.
Do you know a link off-hand with the specifics, especially as
pertains to MacOS X? (I vaguely recall we may be using IEEE
something-or-other, but I don't really need it right now, and thus
unless someone makes it really easy for me by sending URLs or code,
I'll probably stick to more interesting code for now...)
