If you are looking for what is on the drag, you could try Marshall
Clow's DragPeeker:

If you want to snoop around at all the little bits of a pasteboard,
you can try using gandbug <http://projects.gandreas.com/gandbug>,
(and both disclaimers as above would apply to this case).  Since
there is an interactive console (in which you type Objective-C
expressions), you can even examine abitrary pasteboards by name.
