alignment of combobox in a tableview

Is there a problem with comboboxes in a tableview? I
have a tableview that I would like to use a combobox
in a column. Everything works fine. from the bindings
to pulling the content and pushing the data into a
database.

my problem seems to be the combobox in the tableview.
I have changed the font size from the default 13 to 11
and now the combo box doesn't align vertically. The
font size changed in the combobox but it appears that
the text's baseline is too low. As well the indicators
in the corner of the combobox are clipped on the
bottom. Is there something extra needed to do to alter
the combobox in a tableview.
