Copy/Pasting to MS Word

Is it possible to put multiple images on the pasteboard in such a way
that MS Word will be able to paste them? I've got an NSTextView
subclass in which I'm inserting small images as NSTextAttachments.
Selecting one or more images and pasting in TextEdit works, but MS Word
doesn't. Any ideas on what I might do to fix this?
