Critique of Java GUI vs Cocoa

I am writing a master's thesis which includes some discussion of  Cocoa
Vs Java. I am looking for some reputable (end note citable) sources,
like articles or websites that critique the Java GUI or compare and
contrast Cocoa to Java in any way, though I am focusing on GUI
elements.
