CoreFoundation and thread safety

I'm wondering what the general issue is about CoreFoundation and thread =
safety.
Is all of CoreFoundation to be considered unsafe?
If not, does a list exist for funcions which are safe and unsafe?

Specifically, I'm looking for thread safety information in regards to =
the CFBundleGetFunctionPointerForName(); function.
