Yeah you can pass an argument(parameter) with your command and fetch it in
your code like this:

@implementation NSApplication(MyAppScripting)
- (id)handleSendCommand:(NSScriptCommand *)command
{
      id directParam = [command directParameter] ;

// Now you have the parameter in directParameter ...do whatever you want now
...
      // do some stuff
}
