Explorer seems to accept the file/creator type, it even lists my
application as the helper for that file, however, it seems to just
elect to use textedit instead. One problem I've noticed is that when
entering my application into explorer's file helper log, it doesn't
automatically display the proper creator type as it does with other
applications, which leads me to think that I'm not claiming them
properly in my info.plist file.

I set up in Explorer for my application to be a helper application for
the MIME, extension, and creator type of the file. However, once the
file is downloaded, Explorer selects the default application (TextEdit)
for viewing a file since it comes across as plain text.
