Double messages

  • Is it just me or are other people getting 2 copies of each message
sent to this list by folks who are apparently using Panther? About
3/4 of the traffic I am getting on this list is doubled. Traffic from
    other sources is just fine.

Some people will cross post to the Mac OS X Developer list hosted OmniGroup
in addition to this list. Other than those posts, I don't recall seeing
    double-posts...

  • I set up Mail.app to filter mesages based on the "List-Id" header.
(Preferences->Rules->SomeRule->Edit Header List...).  That way, even
cross-posts are filtered correctly between Cocoa Dev and Mac OS X Dev
lists, with one copy in each.  It is still bad form, though, so avoid
    cross-posting if at all possible

    Cheers,
    Kyle Moffett
