Xcode 3.0, is it missing the Close Project menu item?
-
i'm currently reading the Xcode User Guide for Xcode 3.0. it says,
"To close a project, you can choose File > Close Project, or close the
project window or close the project window."
is "Close Project" missing from the menu or do i have a problem and
need to install XCode again. i'm using Xcode Version 3.0, Xcode IDE:
921.0, Xcode Core: 921.0, ToolSupport: 893.0.
thanks,

This is better suited to the xcode-users list; it's off-topic for
cocoa-dev.

maybe so, but i didn't know of one and i thought people who maybe
using xcode, to develop cocoa applications, could take a look at there
version and let me know if it was just a problem i had. i'm new to
using the platform, and was just trying to follow the documentation.
thanks for your kind and helpful remarks,
g.
p.s. could you send me the link to the xcode-users list (mailing) so
i can sign up for it.

That's perfectly understandable, but it's still not a Cocoa-
specific topic. :-) We're all expected to follow the rules. Just keep
in mind that if it's not specific to Cocoa, it belongs on another
list. Generally speaking, if it's anything to do with how to use XCode
or a problem with it, the topic belongs on xcode-users.> p.s. could you send me the link to the xcode-users list (mailing)

Sure: www.lists.apple.com ... this is the same place you found
(and subscribed to) this list. You may want to give that list a
thorough examination to find out what other lists are available so you
have a good idea where to post.
