IKImageBrowserView - redraw a cell with update data

  • Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way using the IKImageBrowserView to
ask for one of the image cell or cell to redraw using an updated
image. In my app I am using an IKImageBroserView and  offer the
possibility to the user to flag an image as no more available. So when
the user is doing this I m updating the currently selected image but
with a warning sign. This change isn't reflected before I restart the
application. I m sure there is something I can do to directly reflect
    this change. I m using a IKImageBrowserNSDataRepresentationType.

  • Hi Anthony,

You have to invoke reloadData on the image-browser view. Thus the
image browser will re-parse the datasource items of the visible cells.
Also for the modified images you have to either bump the
"imageVersion" (an optional item-datasource method) or choose another
    "imageUID".
Otherwise the image browser will consider that those datasource items
didn't change and so they don't need to be re-converted to new
    thumbnails.
