Adding a zip file to the resources doesn't add it in the built application's resource path

  • Hello,
I'm trying to add a menu extra (SampleMenuExtra.menu) to the resources
of my project to be able to copy it to a folder, but it looks like when
adding the .menu to the resources the extension will be removed and I
won't be able to use the menu  (it will be copied without extension and
even if I'll rename it won't work). So I've thought to archive the menu
file and a the zip archive to the resources. My problem is that even if
the zip file looks like it's added correctly to the resources, when i
build the application the file won't be in the resource folder when I'm
looking at the package contents.  Please give me some ideas if you know
what can be the problem. Thanx a lot.

    Best regards,
    Alex

This has nothing to do with Cocoa - the appropriate place for this
sort of question is the xcode-users list. This has to do with proper
build phase settings, etc. You'll get better results searching for
that term in the XCode documentation and / or posting to xcode-users.
