Output to the XCode console

  • Something happened to my xcodeproj file, and I cannot get longer the output
on the XCode Console. I actually get the output on the Console application
all the time, either on deployment or development configs. If I create a
brand new project, the problem doesn't occur. I checked all the build params
and they seem to be equal to the brand new project. So I can't figure out
    the cause of the trouble.

I called "Project:Edit Active Executable MyApplication"
then checked the Executable MyApplication Info panel and it shows:

        When using GDB
        Use PseudoTerminal for standard input/output

Also I deleted the file nested in the xcodeproj package "lorenzo.mode1v3"
As suggested on a web site, unsuccessfully.
Strangely the first NSLog called from within the awakeFromNib method of my
main class is properly shown in the XCode Console panel. All the next NSLog
are shown on the Console application window.

    Any idea?

    Best Regards

This has nothing to do with Cocoa. The appropriate list is
xcode-users. The general *and*  debugging tabs both have IO settings.
Have you looked in both places?

  • Yes, both General and Debugging tabs have the same IO settings.
    General has:
Use no suffix when loading frameworks
Use Pseudo terminal for standard input/output
Both my project and the brand new project have these settings.
My project still output to the Console Application. The brand new project
outputs to the XCode console. Too bad.
Any other param I have to check?

Maybe "tomorrow" I can tell you more. ;-)
    Thanks.
