How to get the managed object bound to UI

  • Would you tell me how to get the managed object bound to UI elements?

My window has a list and a kind of detail view. The detail view has
some text fields, and they are bound to the values of a managed
object which is selected in the list.
I would like to obtain the selected managed object.

    Thank you for your help.

It's said often that Core Data is not a beginner technology. Whether
the object is a managed object or not, you need to understand Cocoa
Bindings (the real source of your confusion) in order to obtain the
selection of an array controller or object controller.

Some not-so-light (but absolutely *required*) reading:
      http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/CocoaBindings/ind
    ex.html

You might also visit cocoadevcentral.com for some excellent articles
on many Cocoa topics, but particularly on Cocoa Bindings and Core
    Data.
