Cocoa Books

  • The five year old Scott Anguish, et al Cocoa book is about the only one
I don't have.  It list for $59.99 at Amazon, but they don't have any.
Instead, they offer used books ranging from $99.99 to $150.  Whoops, that
was yesterday.  Today, the cheapest used book is $115.  That should tell you
something.  Come on Scott, is there a new 10.5 version in the works?  I'll
    pre-order it.

Search the archives. I believe the answer (from Scott himself) was
"no plans". My vote is definitely in for a new edition, however ...

There are no plans for a 10.5 version of the book. Erik and Don are
working on other projects. I'm lucky, I have a dream job writing Cocoa
documentation for Apple.  So I get to work on this type of thing all
the time with a great team of writers. And you don't pay anything to
    get what I write.

Also keep an eye out for Erik's work in the future (and his excellent
    detailed posts here).

    I don't believe that's appropriate....

and for that matter, it's been pointed out that this thread is
directed at one person/book, rather than the group, so is inappropriate.
