Unarchiving data from NSUserDefaults

  • Hi everyone,

I have a password field which is bound the stand user defaults
controller in the Nib. All works well, the password gets saved etc,
but when I try and fetch the password back out it obviously archived.

Are there any simple examples of how to Unarchive the data?

    Thanks

    <file:///Developer/ADC%20Reference%20Library/documentation/Cocoa/
    Reference/Foundation/Classes/NSUnarchiver_Class/Reference/
    Reference.html#//apple_ref/occ/clm/NSUnarchiver/
    unarchiveObjectWithData:>

Also, out of curiosity, why are you saving passwords in the user
defaults? Usually passwords get stored in the keychain.
