OpenSMP (libgomp)

  • I've not used the Leopard build we have at work but I really hope
Apple ship GCC 4.2 with it.

I'm looking forward to dumping my thread pools and using OpenSMP in
my C++ code. OpenSMP is apparently available in .Net 2k5 which works
well for me as I do a lot of cross-platform C++ with an AppKit on it,
    for the Mac.

Does anyone know if libgomp will be in 10.5? If not why not? We have
Macs with four, logical, CPUs. Systems with eight are on the horizon...
  • People using the Leopard preview aren't allowed to talk about it.
    They've signed an NDA.
